APD presented its experiences at the congress of creating innovative ways of showcasing cultural heritage though immersive projects. The congress brought together experts from the areas of business, universities, architecture, design, research, art and culture to analyse Gaudi’s working methods and their application in the business world.
This international event will take place on July 6th and 7th at the Episcopal Palace of Astorga and will gather approximately 150 delegates and 17 speakers from around the world to study Gaudí’s life and work. ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño takes part in the International Arkwork meeting on archaeological practices
Under the title “Archaeological Practices and Knowledge Work in the digital Environment”, the session brought together members of the “Arkwork” working group from the European Cooperation in Science & Technology at the Archaeological Museum of Seville.
ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño created a 2,400 m2 exhibition area on the first floor, and one dedicated to hydraulic energy on the second floor.
The encounter will take place on November 21 at the Archaeological Museum of Seville and will bring together experts and professionals to share perspectives and solutions on museum issues, divulging innovative professional practices in major architectural renovation projects.
The museum has received the European Museum of the Year award for its “exceptional and daring achievement, challenging common perceptions of museums in society”. ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño is responsible for its technical development and museographic implementation.
Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament, inaugurated the 4,000-square metre museum, which collects and displays the legacy of Europe and the European Union and is located in the Eastman Building in Brussels.

The National Museum of Oman opens to the public from 30 July 2016. APD has carried out the exhibition fit-out works of the museum to recreate Oman’s culture heritage with 4,000 square meters of dedicated gallery space, almost 6,000 artefacts on display and an innovative ultra-high definition audiovisual.
Cesar Diaz is an architect in the department of Business Exploration at ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD). He has worked for the company as Construction Superintendent for the exhibition fit-out works of The National Museum of Oman. He has participated as well in projects such as the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow (Russia) and Msheireb Museums in Doha (Qatar).

ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño completed the design for the future House of European History in Brussels
The museum project, which the European Parliament is establishing in Brussels, will give visitors the opportunity to learn about European history and to engage in critical reflection about its meaning for the present day.
The €18 million project will bring to life the country’s history with more than 7,000 objects in an exhibition area of 4,000 square meters, and an innovative “ultra-high definition” audiovisual presentation. It will be the first museum in the Middle East adapted to blind people.
