For the second year running ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño organises SANTALUCÍA’S Annual Sales Convention

SANTALUCÍA’s Sales Area Annual Convention took place on Friday 20 January at several iconic locations in Bilbao, under the theme “Growing Safe”.
Around 1000 people from SANTALUCÍA’s sales network participated in the event organised by ACCIONA Produccciones y Diseño, which comprises 400 agencies and sales outlets.

SANTALUCÍA, a leading insurance company in family protection, has entrusted ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD) once more with the design, production, organisational support and logistics of the Sales Area Annual Convention, which took place on Friday 20 January, at several iconic locations in Bilbao.

Approximately 1000 people attended the event, including members of the sales team, SANTALUCÍA’s corporate environment and the general management of the insurance company.

The place selected to host the Convention was the Euskalduna Palace, which took the form of an interactive meeting with a striking stage that included a large audio-visual sculpture acting as a unique screen for the audio-visual projections. The sculpture was composed of four interconnected triangular sails inspired by the volumes and faceted scales decorating the interior of the building and that pay tribute to its architecture.

APD’s design offered an arrowhead’s point-of-view with a deep perspective to multiply the optical sensations and illusions of the audio-visual projections devised using the video mapping technique. The projections transformed the stage with sensationalist images and dynamic content in perfect synchronisation with the speakers and the corporate videos programmed for the event.

The Convention began with the audio-visual projection of a motivational video in line with the theme for the event, “Growing Safe” and focused on a message of proximity present in SANTALUCÍA’s current marketing campaign.

The Convention’s presentation act was followed by several speakers and a section of interviews with different professionals in the company; after this, awards were presented to team members for their outstanding sales work in 2016.

After the Convention, guests enjoyed different leisure activities around the city, among them a visit to the historic centre and another to the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao. Next, a gala dinner was hosted in the Luxua hall of the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC), including a presentation of awards and a surprise performance for the guests.

Carbon neutral event

As a result of ACCIONA’s full commitment to sustainability, the Convention was a ‘carbon neutral event’, for which the calculated CO2 emissions linked to the celebration will be compensated with the clean energy project Tuppadahalli Wind Energy in Karnataka (India), to achieve a final zero emissions balance.
