‘QASR AL WATAN’ IN ABU DHABI OPENS ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC

The United Arab Emirates’ newest cultural landmark is housed within the Presidential Palace compound in Abu Dhabi. It will pay tribute to the country’s values and traditions.

Qasr Al Watan – ‘Palace of the Nation’-, located in the Presidential Palace compound in Abu Dhabi, has officially opened its doors to the public today, March 11, 2019. The new cultural landmark will pay tribute to the United Arab Emirates’ values and traditions.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, officially inaugurated Qasr Al Watan yesterday.

Qasr Al Watan will offer visitors a deeper understanding of the UAE’s heritage and identity, as they are invited to explore the governing traditions, and values and Arab contributions to various fields of knowledge.

ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño was responsible for the technical and museographic implementation of the main halls of the building.
